This is the report that was created at the end of my CS honors project with
Chris Prince, and represents my first academic
writing effort. While this paper tends to be rather light on details, it does offer a useful
explanation of the motivation behind why we were interested in researching contingency detection
and provides a rough description of the methods that were used to pursue that research.
